Cutler–Orosi School District Reports College and Career Readiness of 74.9% in 2026

CUTLER — CALIFORNIA58 LOCAL. Cutler–Orosi Joint Unified School District announced October 16 that its results improved across all eight district-level indicators in the 2026 California School Dashboard.

Key details for the community

The district reports college and career readiness of 74.9%, up 16 percentage points and higher than the state comparison of 55.2%. The district received the highest performance color, Blue, in that measure.

The same announcement says chronic absenteeism declined from 9% to 6.6%, while the districtwide graduation rate rose to 93.6%. At Cutler Elementary specifically, the science performance measure increased 5.1 points and was rated Green.

District officials said all eight indicators moved in a favorable direction, but that academic disparities among some student groups still require attention. A favorable district rating should not be mistaken for uniform outcomes at every school.

Families can review the state dashboard for individual indicators and subgroup results rather than relying only on the district summary.
